I’m very glad to be heading out to California and Oregon later this week for twenty some odd days, where I’ll be playing two of my favorites; Strawberry, and Sisters festivals. With me playing Wurlitzer piano and sometimes accordion will be the wonderful Ritchie Lawrence (http://richielawrence.com/), a fine player I used to be in a band with many years ago out Colorado way. I will also be playing the well known McCabe’s Guitar Shop (http://www.mccabes.com/) with the very fine songwriter/guitar player/performer, Ernest Troost (http://ernesttroost.com/). Ernest is a very cool cat who lays it down true…! Also, I’m very much looking forward to my stop at Biscuit & Blues (http://www.biscuitsandblues.com/) in Fan Francisco, a place I love to play…!

We just got a peak at our new video for the song “mile marker 41″, the likely title track for my new and almost finished Red House Records CD slated for release in the spring of 2014. The clip was directed by Patrick Bosworth, and co-features Chuck Hawthorne (http://chuckhawthorne.com/) as a shifty type on a mission to retrieve something left behind at the scene of a crime near mile marker 41…Chuck is a very fine songwriter you’ll soon be hearing about! I am looking forward to producing his recording this fall…
I haven’t seen you in a while, so come on by and say hello…I have some new songs and am feeling extra fine…!
